Players In 2009/10 season

James Lorimer (defender): Former Bearberry defender, "Beaner" almost joined the club a year ago but made a u-turn right on the eve of the season to stick with the Westfield club. A popular figure amongst the dressing room, Lorimer will be hoping to force his way into the starting line-up.

Andy Howe (midfielder): Tricky winger who left promoted Westfield to try his luck at Nomads. Missed the start of last season through injury but managed to win his place back and played against Nomads in the Division Two Cup Final. Has impressed in pre-season.

Players Out

Paul Eastwood (midfielder): One of the first players to join the club, Eastwood left in the summer after four years at the club. Will always be remembered for scoring the winner in Nomads' first ever victory. Was in and out of the side for four seasons and decided to call it a day, but stated he could stick around for training sessions.

Gareth Edwards (midfielder): Edwards left the club somewhat under a cloud in May 2009. After finding it difficult to attend training sessions due to cycling from his Bristol home, the combative midfielder was often left out of the starting XI. When left out of the 16 for the final match, he decided enough was enough and left the club for a second time.
