Biography:
This was Nath’s first ever club, only playing in goal now and again in games at Paulton Rec beforehand. Having returned from Plymouth Uni in the summer of 2006, Nath fought for a starting place with Luke Tucker and featured in a few friendlies. However, a leg infection kept Nath out of action for over four months and with Tucker in exceptional form, he had to wait until April before he was given a starting place, Tucker moving to defence due to player shortage. Started well in 3-2 win over Trowbridge and played the next six games during Nomads’ slump in form. After only two starts in 2007/08, Maidment left the club in the summer. Now lives in Holcombe and is getting married next month.
